VPOP3 Overview
VPOP3 is a fully-featured Windows Email Server.
It is designed to be simple to configure and use,
but flexible enough to fulfil most users' requirements.
VPOP3
will work with any Internet email account which
supports POP3 or SMTP methods for incoming mail,
and SMTP for outgoing mail. It will also work without
an Internet email account at all, using direct SMTP
email reception and sending. VPOP3 will work with
any type of Internet connectivity - from a dial-up
modem, through ISDN and broadband xDSL connections
through to permanent leased lines.
VPOP3
includes many features (see the Features list for
a fuller list) including integration with several
virus solutions, SPAM filtering, support for any
POP3/SMTP email client (also IMAP4 email clients
are supported with VPOP3 Enterprise), full web access
to your email, fully remotely manageable using the
web based administration, mailing list server, built-in
automatic email response facilities, support for
multiple ISP accounts, and much much more.
VPOP3
is continually being updated and enhanced to meet
and exceed customer requirements. We do not charge
for most updates, so you can benefit from these
enhancements without having to continually purchase
updates or expensive annual service agreements.
VPOP3
is available as a 1 month free trial download so
you can try it for yourself to see how it will meet
your requirements
VPOP3
Scripting
One of the new features in VPOP3 2.1.0 and later
is the facility to write scripts to easily extend
the functionality of VPOP3 using a popular embedded
language called Lua. For more information on this
look at the VPOP3 Lua Documentation, or the VPOP3
Lua Forum. This facility can be used for tasks ranging
from routing messages based on keywords or attachments,
through to complex spam filtering
